Abstract

A roofing insulation spacer is disclosed. The spacer includes a crossbar (110) with an upper mounting surface and two side walls (113) and is adapted to be spaced apart from, and substantially parallel to, a purlin. A plurality of C-shaped leg members (120) are adapted to be fixable to the purlin and pass through one or both side walls (113) of the crossbar (110) to prevent uplift of the crossbar (110). The crossbar (110) is used to fix roofing cladding so that insulation between the purlins and cladding is not compressed.
