Abstract

Un método para controlar transmisión en flujo continuo de HTTP adaptativa de contenido de medio entre un servidor de HTP y un cliente de HTTP en un sistema de comunicación, en dicho sistema el contenido de medio está dispuesto como una pluralidad de períodos, y cada período comprende una pluralidad de representaciones de segmentos de medios, dicho método incluye los pasos de proveer (S10) información de alineación temporal para los segmentos de medios de la pluralidad de representaciones, dicha información de alineación temporal provee indicaciones acerca de una relación temporal entre los segmentos de la pluralidad de representaciones del contenido de medios. Además, el método incluye proveer (S20) información de localización de trama clave para los segmentos de medios, dicha información de localización de trama clave provee indicaciones acerca de localizaciones de tramas clave en los segmentos de medios de la pluralidad de representaciones. Finalmente, controla (S30) la adaptación de la transmisión en flujo continuo de HTTP del contenido de medios con base en por lo menos una de la información de alineación temporal provista y la información de localización de trama clave provista.
