Abstract
Se provee un aditivo capaz de impedir la formación de impurezas y capaz de eliminar o disolver impurezas formadas y acumuladas en la interfase de capas acuosas y orgánicas debido a la reacción entre naftenato de calcio y un compuesto de azufre, incluido H2S, en la presencia de agua en una mezcla de petróleos crudos que contienen naftenato de calcio y un compuesto de azufre o H2S, en donde el aditivo es ácido glioxílico; se provee asimismo un método para impedir la formación de impurezas y para eliminar o disolver impurezas formadas y acumuladas en la interfase de capas acuosas y orgánicas debido a la reacción entre naftenato de calcio y un compuesto de azufre, incluido H2S, en la presencia de agua en una mezcla de petróleos crudos que contienen naftenato de calcio y un compuesto de azufre, incluido H2S, método que comprende tratar la mezcla de petróleos crudos, que contienen naftenato de calcio y un compuesto de azufre o H2S, con ácido glioxílico.
