Abstract

Se describe una pistola de rocío manualmente operable que proporciona un patrón de rocío variable del líquido que pasa a través de la pistola desde una fuente de líquido presurizado, tal como un tanque aspersor que es bombeado para presurizar el líquido en éste. Una bobina de válvula que es movible alternadamente en direcciones opuestas en la pistola por la palanca disparadora pivotablemente montada en un mango. Un extremo de la bobina tiene una válvula que cierra el flujo a través de la bobina; el otro extremo de la bobina es un elemento de control de flujo que tiene una superficie de control de flujo. La bobina puede ser movida desde una posición donde la válvula que controla el flujo hacia la bobina es cerrada a una posición donde la válvula está abierta y el espaciamiento entre el elemento de control de flujo y la boquilla es variado. Al variar este espaciamiento, el flujo del líquido puede ser variado de fluir directamente hacia un orificio de la boquilla para fluir a lo largo de la superficie cónica interior de la boquilla. El diámetro del patrón cónico puede ser variado al cambiar el espaciamiento entre el elemento de control de flujo y la boquilla.
