Abstract

El Detector de Irregularidades en la Línea de Acero (DILA) es un sistema Integral electrónico que permite detectar y evaluar de forma preventiva las irregularidades que presenta la línea de acero, debido a las intervenciones realizadas en campo (pozos en producción) o en su defecto a una línea de acero nueva. Se rige por el principio de corrientes de Eddy o corrientes de Foucault. Este sistema integral electrónico, permite detectar y evaluar las irregularidades de la línea de acero empleada en intervenciones de pozos petroleros. Cabe mencionar que estas líneas pueden variar en su diámetro dependiendo de la operación a realizar en cada pozo. Está constituido por: codificador óptico, sensor de corrientes de Eddy, lector de corrientes de Eddy, un modulo electrónico de adquisición de datos y una computadora personal. El DILA permite obtener un registro electrónico por medio de un monitoreo de la integridad de la línea de acero utilizada en las operaciones de servicio a pozos, permite la interpretación de los datos para poder graficar y guardar registros para uso posterior, ofreciendo así confiabilidad y seguridad a la línea analizada. Ayuda a reducir las fallas en la línea de acero por efecto de ruptura, debido a deformaciones por esfuerzos excesivos o atropellamientos, que se crean dentro de los pozos en producción, detecta aplanamiento y dobleces, falta de recubrimiento de níquel (zonas más oscuras de la línea de acero), porosidad y corrosión debida probablemente por ataque acido en la línea durante las operaciones dentro del pozo.
