Abstract

Se describen un dispositivo y técnicas clínicas que pueden ayudar a los profesionales del cuidado de la salud a localizar y formar imágenes de los contornos generales de los vasos sanguíneos que se localizan ya sea debajo o cerca del tejido o de las superficies de la piel. El dispositivo implica un sustrato formado a partir de una matriz polimérica de auto-enfriamiento, que incorpora cuando menos un colorante termocrómico, y puede proporcionar un medio para distinguir entre regiones de diferentes temperaturas cuando se aplica a un objeto o cuerpo emisor de calor.
