Abstract
Se describen un método y aparato para proteger una sarta de celdas solares del sombreado en un panel solar que tiene una pluralidad de sartas de celdas solares. La corriente eléctrica es derivada alrededor de cualquier sarta de las celdas solares teniendo por lo menos una celda solar sombreada al derivar la corriente eléctrica a través de conductores eléctricos y diodo de derivación ubicado en un margen de perímetro de un substrato que soporta las celdas solares de manera que no importa que sarta tenga una corriente de celda solar sombreada a través de la sarta, la celda solar sombreada se deriva a través de conductores eléctricos y un diodo de derivación respectivo ubicado en el margen de perímetro. Esto distribuye disipación de calor desde los diodos de derivación respectivos que están asociados con sartas que tienen por lo menos una celda solar sombreada, a diferentes ubicaciones alrededor del margen de perímetro.
