Abstract

La invención se refiere a un método para separar una fracción rica en nitrógeno de una fracción inicial que sustancialmente contiene nitrógeno e hidrocarburos en donde la fracción inicial se separa por rectificación en una fracción rica en nitrógeno y una fracción rica en metano. De conformidad con la invención, durante una interrupción de la alimentación de la fracción inicial se comprimen al menos temporalmente la fracción (4'') rica en nitrógeno y la fracción (5'') rica en metano y se alimentan al proceso en forma colectiva como fracción inicial, siendo que la compresión de la fracción (4'') rica en nitrógeno y la fracción (5'') rica en metano se puede efectuar en forma individual y/o colectiva.
