Abstract
Un dispositivo y método para proporcionar una fuente de corriente constante de LED por temperatura compensada. Se utiliza una resistencia de Coeficiente de Temperatura Positivo (PTC) para reducir la corriente suministrada a través de un circuito excitador a un elemento iluminador LED bajo condiciones ambientales variables. La resistencia de PTC previene en sobrecalentamiento de los elementos LEO debido a la excesiva temperatura ambiente, diseño térmico incorrecto o voltaje excesivo. El regulador de voltaje puede incluirse para linealizar la temperatura contra las características de resistencia de la resistencia de PTC.
