Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Überwachungssystem zur Überwachung der Temperatur von zumindest einem Bauteil, wobei das Überwachungssystem zumindest einen Überwachungsstromkreis aufweist, in dem zumindest ein Temperatursensor angeordnet ist, welcher derart mit dem Bauteil thermisch gekoppelt oder koppelbar ist, dass der Temperatursensor eine aktuelle Temperatur oder zumindest nahezu die aktuelle Temperatur des Bauteils annehmen kann, wobei der zumindest eine Temperatursensor ein elektrisches Widerstandselement ist, insbesondere ein PTC-Widerstandselement oder ein PPTC-Widerstandselement, dessen elektrischer Widerstand in einem Temperaturbereich, in dem eine vorgegebene zu überwachende Schwellentemperatur des Bauteils liegt, mit zunehmender Temperatur nichtlinear ansteigt, so dass anhand einer elektrischen Messung eines vom aktuellen elektrischen Widerstand des Widerstandselement abhängigen Messwerts eine Überwachung der aktuellen Temperatur des Bauteils auf Übersteigen der Schwellentemperatur erfolgen kann.
