Abstract

Sistema concentrador solar semi pasivo basado en un arreglo de micro-helióstatos cuya función es redireccionar la radiación solar hacia un absorbedor para fines de concentración solar. Los micro-helióstatos son de un material reflejante y el arreglo de los mismos presenta movimiento en dos ejes: acimut y altitud. El movimiento en acimut se logra al activar una serie de motores conectados a un mecanismo que contiene el arreglo. Por otro lado, el movimiento en altitud, es posible a través de una banda y unos motores que rotan sincronizadamente. El arreglo de micro-helióstatos se ensambla a una estructura estacionaria, lo que disminuye el costo del sistema al requerir motores de baja potencia, además de facilitar su instalación. La configuración descrita permite contar con un recibidor estacionario a lo largo del día. Para maximizar la energía concentrada, es posible inclinar la estructura de los micro-helióstatos, el absorbedor y el recibidor a través del año, según se requiera, debido al cambio en la trayectoria del sol. Asimismo, en horas cercanas al mediodía los micro-helióstatos se orientan paralelamente a los rayos del sol, lo cual permite captar una mayor cantidad de energía al eliminar la sombra se estos en el absorbedor.
