Abstract
Una red de comunicación inalámbrica que comprende una pluralidad de estaciones base que permiten la comunicación inalámbrica con una pluralidad de estaciones de suscriptor dentro de un área de cobertura de la red, en donde por lo menos una de la pluralidad de estaciones base es capaz de: determinar un esquema de multiplexación para multiplexar un reporte de retroalimentación de información de calidad de canal de frecuencia selectiva/índice de matriz de precodificación (FS CQI/PMI) con un reporte de retroalimentación de información de calidad de canal de banda ancha/índice de matriz de pre-codificación (WB CQI/PMI) y un reporte de información de rango (Rl) sobre un canal de control de enlace ascendente físico; transmitir el esquema de multiplexación a una estación de suscriptor; y recibir de la estación de suscriptor, un reporte de retroalimentación FS CQI/PMI multiplexado con un reporte de retroalimentación WB CQI/PMI y un reporte Rl sobre el canal de control de enlace ascendente físico de acuerdo con el esquema de multiplexación.
