Abstract
Por medio de un dispositivo para la fijación de las partículas de un catalizador, en donde las partículas están presentes en una capa que puede ser atravesada por una corriente de gas en la dirección de la fuerza de gravedad, debe alcanzarse una pérdida de presión específica mínima que también se mantenga baja en caso de aparecer posibles impurezas condicionadas por el procedimiento de operación, que tenga la menor influencia posible sobre la permanencia del gas que la atraviesa, que posibilite una segura presión hacia abajo sobre las partículas de catalizador aún con altas velocidades de la corriente de gas, y que presente cierta flexibilidad para poder adaptarse a modificaciones de la capa de catalizador; esto se logra a través de que sobre la capa (3) de partículas de catalizador está provista la aplicación de por lo menos una capa de tejido metálico (10), y en donde la capa de tejido metálico (10) consiste en elementos individuales de malla metálica (11) firmemente entrelazados.
