Abstract
Cargar en flotación una batería comprende cargar una batería a un voltaje de referencia que es menor que un voltaje máximo de la batería. Una fuente de alimentación provee energía a un circuito de carga. El circuito suministra un voltaje de referencia. Un amplificador operacional carga en flotación la batería al voltaje de referencia. Un comparador determina si el voltaje de la batería excede el voltaje de referencia. Otro comparador determina si la corriente a través de la batería excede una corriente de referencia. Un termistor determina si la temperatura de la batería excede un rango seguro. Un microprocesador monitorea las entradas de los comparadores y el termistor y las salidas del circuito. Si los compradores o el termistor reporta una falla de seguridad al microprocesador, el microprocesador desconecta la corriente de carga a la batería. Si un circuito de la salida toma demasiada corriente de la batería, el microprocesador puede desconectar la batería del circuito de salida.
