Abstract
La MDCT entera es usada en la codificación de audio sin pérdida. Como una alternativa, puede ser agregado un prefiltro autorregresivo en la parte frontal de la transformación sin pérdidas, llegar a un aumento del nivel de regiones de frecuencia sin menor energía para hacer disminuir el dominio de los errores de redondeo en esas áreas. Ambos procesos puede ser combinados para mejorar aún más la relación de compresión de un codec sin pérdidas.
