Abstract

La MDCT entera es usada en la codificación de audio sin pérdida. Los coeficientes de filtro de un filtro de formación de ruido adaptable para los coeficientes de transformación son adaptados en pasos de elevación individuales de acuerdo a las características de la señal en el dominio de tiempo actual. Como una alternativa, puede ser agregado un prefiltro autorregresivo en la parte frontal de la transformación sin pérdidas, llegar a un aumento del nivel de regiones de frecuencia sin menor energía para hacer disminuir el dominio de los errores de redondeo en esas áreas. Ambos procesos puede ser combinados para mejorar aún más la relación de compresión de un codec sin pérdidas.
