Abstract

Se proporciona un protocolo de sincronización de servicio Web que establece los metadatos y la transmisión de mensajes mediante el cual los puntos finales se colocan de forma aleatoria, comparten y sincronizan información común entre sí en un ecosistema de cómputo en red de maestro múltiple. Se define un protocolo basado en SOAP para sincronizar datos entre dos puntos finales en donde uno o más de los puntos finales soporta un servicio Web. Al definir la transmisión de mensajes para transferencias basadas en reconocimiento utilizando servicios Web de XML, el protocolo permite a los dispositivos, servicios y aplicaciones sincronizarse a través de muros contra incendios, permite la flexibilidad al permitir cualquier grupo o subgrupo común de información a través de puntos finales y permite la extensibilidad al no prescribir el sistema de los datos reales que se sincronizan en los puntos finales.
