Abstract
Un convertidor de partículas para la recolección e incineración de partículas de matera del escape del diesel de motor que incluye un camino de escape que se extiende del motor de diesel a través del convertidor de partículas. El convertidor de partículas incluye un protector y al menos una vela localizada en el protector. Un sistema de incineración eléctrica puede ser conectado de manera eléctrica a un proveedor de energía de pulso para incinerar hollín recolectado con la vela. Una catálisis de oxidación de diesel (DOC) puede ser dispuesta en el camino del escape para generar una cantidad suficiente de N02 para ayudar a la incineración. Al menos un enfriador de escape puede ser provisto para el control de la temperatura del escape. Un sistema de retroalimentación puede controlar la temperatura de los gases del escape basado en la presión que se suelta a través del DPC, la temperatura adelante del DPC y del motor RPM.
