Abstract
Un convertidor elevador para un balasto electrónico con graduador de intensidad para activar una lámpara de descarga gaseosa que tiene un mayor intervalo de potencia de salida. El convertidor elevador funciona en el modo de conducción discontinua cuando una intensidad deseada de la lámpara es menor que una primera intensidad de umbral, y funciona en el modo de conducción crítica cuando la intensidad deseada es mayor que una segunda intensidad de umbral. El convertidor elevador comprende un circuito de retardo para introducir una cantidad de retraso en la conducción de corriente a través del convertidor elevador.
