Abstract

The invention relates to a device and method for bending pipes, said device comprising a feed device (4) for the pipe (2), which feeds the pipe (2) continuously in the longitudinal direction, a heating device (5) located in the feed direction for heating one region of the pipe (2) and a bending arm (7), which can be pivoted about a rotational axis (D) and comprises a holding device (6) for the pipe (2). The pipe (2) can be removably fixed in the holding device (6). The aim of the invention is to provide a device and a method for bending pipes with which the pipe can be bent in different bending directions. To achieve this, the feed device (4) and the bending arm (7) can moved in relation to one another in such a way that the feed device (4) and the rotational axis (D) of the bending arm (7) can be moved past one another.
