Abstract
Las cepas de vacuna de Shigella cuya caracter?stica atenuante primaria es la eliminaci?n del gen virG(icsA) y adicionalmente dos o m?s eliminaciones en los genes setAB(shET1), senA(shET2), senB(shET2-2), stxAB y msbB2. De esta forma, la cepa de vacuna tendr? tres o m?s eliminaciones en los genes identificados, ser?n m?s seguras, y reducir?n o eliminar?n los s?ntomas de fiebre y diarrea en humanos. Las siguientes cepas de vacunas espec?ficas han sido construidas: WRSS3 (?senA, ?senB, ?virG, ?msbB2), WRSf2G15 ?WirG, ?setAB, ?senA, ?senB, ?msbB2) y WRSd5 (?virG, ?stxAB, ?senA, ?senB, ?msbB2).
