Abstract

La invención se refiere a un método para la elaboración de un producto de cerámica, refractario, poroso, a base de SiC, mediante cocción a temperatura elevada y sinterización a partir de una fracción de partículas finas de SiC y una fracción de partículas de SiC de un mayor tamaño, caracterizándose dicho método porque, durante una etapa precedente a la cocción y sinterización a temperatura elevada, las partículas más finas de SiC se aglomeran mientras que, durante una segunda etapa, los gránulos así obtenidos se agregan al polvo de SiC que incluye las partículas con el mayor tamaño. La invención también se refiere a un cuerpo de SiC poroso, esencialmente recristalizado en una forma de CC, en particular un filtro de partículas para aplicación automotriz, obtenido mediante dicho método.
