Abstract

En un aspecto, la presente invención proporciona un método para corregir la visión, que comprende determinar una adaptación residual exhibida por un lente (34) cristalino, natural, de un ojo (32), y seleccionar un lente intraocular multifocal (IOL) (20, 36), que muestra una potencia óptica lejos del foco (por ejemplo, en un rango de aproximadamente -15 a aproximadamente + 50 Dioptrías (D)) y una potencia de adición (por ejemplo, en el rango de aproximadamente ID a aproximadamente 4 D), para la implantación en el ojo mientras que tiene los lentes naturales.
