Abstract
Un método para atenuar las reflexiones múltiples en las señales sísmicas de acuerdo con un aspecto de la invención incluye filtrar en cuanto a coherencia de las señales sísmicas; las señales sísmicas son señales sísmicas filtradas contra el paso de bajas frecuencias y filtradas contra el paso de altas frecuencias, con una frecuencia seleccionada de tal manera de manera que existan de manera sustancial solamente reflexiones múltiples en las señales sísmicas superiores a la frecuencia; se genera una máscara que tiene un valor unitario, en que la amplitud de señal filtrada contra el paso de altas frecuencias excede un umbral seleccionado; la máscara tiene valor unitario para todas las otras señales filtradas; se multiplica el valor de máscara por las señales filtradas contra el paso de bajas frecuencias; se añaden las señales multiplicadas a las señales filtradas contra el paso de altas frecuencias para generar un modelo de las reflexiones múltiples; se sustrae el modelo de reflexiones múltiples de las señales sísmicas filtradas en cuanto a coherencia.
