Abstract
En una red para transmisión de paquete de datos digitales, se percibe calidad de recepción de paquetes de datos recibidos (111) por una terminal remota (101). Con ello, se genera (112) una secuencia de bits indicativa para la calidad de recepción percibida. Esta secuencia de bits o una versión comprimida de esta secuencia de bits se transfiere (114) en tiempo real en un canal de manejo a una primera unidad de procesamiento central (121) en un nodo de red (102) en donde la secuencia de bits se compacta o procesa. Al procesar la secuencia de bits, la primera unidad de procesamiento central (121) puede determinar características de ruido de impulso. Alternativamente, la secuencia de bits o una versión comprimida compactada de la misma puede reenviarse a una segunda unidad de procesamiento central (131) en un administrador de red (103) que procesa la secuencia de bits y determina las características de ruido de impulso.
