Abstract
Un generador accionado por viento incluye un rotor colocado en un conducto cilíndrico y soportado mediante una estructura para la rotación en respuesta al viento que fluye a través del conducto. El rotor incluye una pluralidad de álabes giratorios espaciados paralela y circunferencialmente soportados para girar alrededor de un eje por lo general horizontal. Cada álabe está soportado para un movimiento de pivote para cambiar el paso del álabe, ángulo de ataque o curvatura a medida que el rotor gira. El motor de control de paso o curvatura o el mecanismo de veleta autónomo son operables para mover una leva circular para variar el paso del álabe o curvatura para controlar la velocidad del rotor.
