Abstract

Improved tile (1) for forming floors, which comprises a laminar body that has joining and engagement means consisting of projecting portions (2) and grooved portions (3) on at least one of the exterior sides of the laminar body for coupling to another identical or similar tile with complementary joining and engagement means, for covering a floor, provision also having been made for separating means for the formation of at least two independent tile portions (10), each provided with the joining- and engagement-means portions for joining and coupling to the joining and engagement means located on the exterior side of a tile (1). In this way, the tile (1) may be divided rapidly and simply into a number of sections with different dimensions, this being very useful for final portions or corners during the assembly of floating floors where, customarily, the last piece is of smaller size.

Description

PERFECTED PLATE FOR THE CONFIGURATION OF SOILS DESCRIPTIVE MEMORY.
OBJECT OF THE INVENTION The present Application for Utility Model has as its object the registration of an improved plate for the configuration of floors that incorporates notable innovations and advantages over other plates with the same purpose. More specifically, it refers to an improved plate for the configuration of floors comprising a laminar body with a general rectangular or square shape that has joining and fitting means constituted by protruding sections and grooved sections on at least one of the outer sides of the body laminate to be coupled to another similar or similar plate with complementary joining and fitting means.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION. It is widely known the existence of rectangular plates or panels that can be joined together for the formation of floating floors in indoor or outdoor areas, such as swimming pools, terrace, etc. which have joining and fitting means, such as, for example, a tongue-and-groove joint on the outer sides of the piece for coupling complementary pieces by any of the four sides. However, during the assembly of floating floors using these plates, it is usual in its final assembly phase, that the last remaining portion to be covered with floating floor presents dimensions smaller than the size of the plate, with which the operator must to cut the piece in the best possible way, being in most cases, a cut with an irregular shape.
DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION. The present invention has been developed in order to provide an improved plate that solves the aforementioned drawbacks, also providing other additional advantages that will be evident from the description that is attached below. The perfected plate of the invention intended for the configuration of soils known as floating-type floors is of the type comprising an essentially laminar body with a rectangular or square shape that has joining and fitting means constituted by protruding sections and grooved sections in al less one of the sides of the laminar body to be coupled to another equal or similar plate with complementary joining and fitting means for covering a floor, and characterized in that it also has separation means for the formation of at least two portions of independent plate, each of the portions of joining and fitting means having been provided for joining and coupling to the joining and fitting means located on the outer side of a plate. Preferably, the separation means consist of a plurality of cutting grooves arranged in one or more directions that partially or completely pass through the plate. Thanks to these characteristics, a plate of the previous type is obtained that can be divided quickly and easily in different sections with different dimensions, being very useful for the final sections or corners during the assembly of floating floors where usually the last piece to assemble It has dimensions smaller than those of the plate, and at the same time maintaining the same type of internal connection as in the outer areas of the piece, so its assembly is almost immediate. Also preferably, the joining and fitting means of the portions consist of grooves located along the grooves on one or both sides of each groove. Other features and advantages of the perfected plate object of the present invention will be apparent from the description of a preferred embodiment, but not exclusive, which is illustrated by way of non-limiting example in the accompanying drawings, in which: BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DESIGNS. Figure 1 .- It is a plan view of an improved plate for the configuration of floors in accordance with the present invention; and Figure 2.- It is a plan view of a quadrangular portion from the plate of the invention of the previous figure; Figure 3.- Is a plan view of a rectangular portion of the plate of the invention; and Figure 4.- It is a perspective view corresponding to a perfected plate with slats mounted on top. DESCRIPTION OF A PREFERRED EMBODIMENT In figure 1 there is shown an embodiment of an improved plate for the configuration of floors comprising a laminar body (1) of a plastic material injection moldable with a square shape, having joining and fitting means constituted by protruding sections (2) and grooved sections (3) on the four sides of the laminar body (1) to be coupled to another similar or similar plate with complementary joining and fitting means for covering a floor, also having separation means for the formation of at least two independent plate portions, each of the portions of joining and fitting means being provided for joining and coupling to a plate. The separation means consist of a plurality of cutting grooves (4) arranged in one or more directions, that is to say diagonally or perpendicularly between them, which partially or completely cross the laminar body (1). With respect to the joining and fitting means of the portions consist of grooves (5) located along the various cutting grooves (4) on one or both sides of each groove in the manner of a tongue and groove system. As can be seen in the attached figure, the laminar body can be divided, for example, into four quadrangular equal portions (10) (indicated by broken lines) or multiple rectangular portions and at the same time, each portion (10) can be subdivided into other portions rectangular In figure 2 one of the portions (10) cut is represented while in figure 3 a rectangular portion cut from the portion (10) is seen, thus appreciating the wide variety of configurations by a simple cut that allows the plate of the present invention. The laminar plate is essentially designed to place on top, for example, wooden slats (7). Due to the configuration of the plate described it is also possible to modify the direction of the slats (7), by facilitating the re-installation of the slats quickly and easily and again allowing the sectioning of the plate in its new direction If necessary, you can mount a floor with the slats (7) in two perpendicular directions. On the other hand, as it can be seen in the upper left part inside the laminar body (1) of figure 1 there are protrusions or spare "males" (6) that can be used in case of breakage of any of the protruding sections (2) or to facilitate predetermined designs and finishes. The details, shapes, dimensions and other accessory elements, as well as the materials used in the manufacture of the perfected plate of the invention may be conveniently replaced by others that are technically equivalent and do not depart from the essentiality of the invention nor of the scope defined by the claims that are included below.
