Abstract
Se describe un dispositivo de medición de densidad y nivel del líquido. El dispositivo comprende un transductor magnetoestrictivo alargado y por lo menos dos imanes transductores incrustados en flotadores que se pueden mover libremente a lo largo de un transductor. Un flotador es relativamente más sensible a la variación de densidad del líquido que el otro flotador. El flotador menos sensible se utiliza para la medición de nivel del líquido y el flotador más sensible se utiliza para la medición de la densidad del líquido. El flotador de densidad del líquido tiene una porción inferior totalmente inmersa dentro de un líquido y una porción superior parcialmente inmersa en un líquido. La porción superior está hecha sustancialmente en forma de un cilindro hueco con un diámetro interno mayor que el diámetro externo del flotador de nivel del líquido. Por lo tanto el flotador de densidad del líquido se puede mover hacia arriba y hacia abajo sin tocar el flotador de nivel del líquido.
