Abstract

A telescoping clamp assembly for a material handling system includes an inner shaft, an outer shaft, a clamping device, and a retaining element. The inner shaft has a longitudinal guide portion along an outer surface of the inner shaft. The outer shaft has a bore adapted to receive the inner shaft. The clamping device is located at the outer shaft and is configured to tighten the outer shaft about the inner shaft. The retaining element is adjustable to adjust a degree of clamping of the clamping collar at the outer shaft. The retaining element also engages the longitudinal guide portion of the inner shaft to limit extension and/or extraction of the inner shaft from the outer shaft.

Description

CLOSURE SYSTEM AND CONTAINER RESISTANT TO CHILDREN OF PRESSURE AND TURN ONE PIECE Field of the invention Illustrative aspects of the invention relate to child-resistant packaging such as for pharmaceutical products.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION U.S. Patent No. 5,671,853 relates to a one-piece child resistant container and a one piece closure assembly.
There is a need for a one-piece child resistant container for pressure and rotation of an improved part. There is also a need to provide a two-part package without any third component. There is also a need to remove cutting edges from the vertical injection molded tabs.
Extract of the invention A first aspect of the invention relates to a child-resistant closure of pressure and rotation of a piece for a container. A second aspect relates to a child-resistant package comprising a container and a child-resistant closure of pressure and one-piece rotation for the container.
Brief Description of the Drawings Figures la, Ib and illustrate a top view, a side view, and a bottom view, respectively, of a closure for a container according to an aspect of the invention.
Figure Id illustrates a cross section of Figure Ib taken along line A-A.
The Figure illustrates a perspective view of the closure.
Figures 2a, 2b and 2c illustrate a top view, a side view and a bottom view, respectively, of a container for use with the closure of Figure 1 according to one aspect of the invention.
Figure 2d illustrates another side view and Figure 2e illustrates a cross-sectional view of Figure 2c taken along line A-A.
Figure 2f is an enlarged view of the circle B of Figure 2e.
Figure 3 illustrates a side view of a closure and container combination according to an aspect of the invention.
Figure 4 illustrates a front view of a closure and container combination according to an aspect of the invention.
Figure 5 illustrates a perspective view of a closure and container combination according to an aspect of the invention.
Figure 6 illustrates a top view of a closure according to an aspect of the invention.
Detailed Description Illustrative aspects of the present invention will be described. These aspects only provide examples of the invention, and it goes without saying that the aspects can be modified appropriately without departing from the essence of the invention.
Aspects of the invention include a child-resistant package that includes a child-resistant closure of pressure and rotation of a piece of rigid or hard material. As shown in Figure 3, the closure 1 is placed on a container 10, such as a bottle. The bottle has a threaded neck 11 and an upper shoulder 12 with recessed grooves or grooves 13 formed from the upper surface of the upper shoulder. See also Figure 2.
As shown in Figure 1, the closure 1 has at least one flexible (removable) panel 2 on the side wall 3. Figure 1 illustrates two flexible panels although any suitable amount of flexible panels can be used. The flexible panels, when they sink, allow to unscrew the closure of the container. More particularly, each panel includes at least one vertical tongue 4 which is joined to a corresponding locking surface within the annular grooves or grooves 13 formed in an upper shoulder 12 of the container. This arrangement prevents the closure from being removed without first sinking the flexible panels. Sinking the flexible panels releases the tabs on the locking surface. The locking surface is an integral part of the upper "blown" shoulder and the upper surface of the container. See Figure 3.
The side wall 3 generally has an outer diameter to equal the outer diameter of the bottle. The closure and the tabs may have hardening edges 14 and 15 as shown in Figures le and 3.
The lid can be used on an easy-to-grasp bottle that has finger handles 17 as shown in Figures 2b-2e and 3-6.
The aspects of the invention also include an optional cap and ring 16 for "hermetic" requirements and / or for the removal of expensive induction aluminum foil seals. However, if desired, coatings with an aluminum foil seal can also be applied.
The closing of pressure and rotation of a piece is friendly with the elderly. The present invention eliminates vertical rings with cutting edges by using recessed grooves 13, removes the angled walls, and allows smooth vertical side walls to increase the top surface to better stack the containers. The shape of the closure and the container provides a better presence of the store since the shape is maintained from the bottom of the container to the top. The packaging is also friendly with the big stores because stores prefer containers that are easy to stack. Aspects of the invention also include an optional stacking ring on top of the closure to assist with stacking.
The containers are can use for pharmaceuticals such tablets and liquids. The containers can also be used to contain other items.
While the different aspects of the invention have been described in conjunction with the examples of structures and methods described above, different alternatives, modifications, variations, improvements and / or substantial equivalents, whether known or that can be currently anticipated, may become apparent for those who have at least normal skills in the art. Accordingly, it is desired that the examples of structures and methods, set forth above, be illustrative of the invention, not exhaustive of them. Different changes can be made without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention. Accordingly, it is desired that the invention comprises all alternatives, modifications, variations, improvements and / or substantial equivalents developed subsequently.
