Abstract

El calentador de agua de respaldo para un calentador de agua solar del tipo termosifón funciona a través de una tarjeta electrónica que inicia el funcionamiento del calentador cuando un cable bimetálico detecta una temperatura menor a 38ºC y existe una demanda de agua por medio del detector de flujo a través del tanque, unido a un colector cilíndrico, para transferir entre un 85% a un 90% de la energía calorífica del quemador, el cual es encendido gradualmente por una chispa eléctrica emitida por una bujía conectada a la tarjeta electrónica que a su vez envía la señal de abertura de la válvula de alimentación de gas. Una vez encendido el quemador la corriente eléctrica generada por la primera bujía es transformada por el efecto de ionización cambiando la polarización de la corriente y detectada por otra bujía que emite la señal de cambio a la tarjeta electrónica. Si no es detectada la señal de cambio de corriente por la tarjeta, el sistema se bloquea y después de 2 minutos se reinicia el sistema y si en dos intentos más no se detecta la señal la tarjeta bloqueará el equipo y marcará una señal visual indicando un error en el sistema. Si el calentador de agua funciona correctamente, la tarjeta emitirá una señal visual. En el momento en que el cable bimetálico detecte una temperatura mayor a 50ºC la tarjeta detendrá el funcionamiento del calentador del agua hasta que se reinicie un nuevo ciclo de temperatura.
