Abstract
La presente invencion se refiere a un proceso para consolidacion hidroliticamente e hidrotermicamente estable o para un cambio en el comportamiento de humedad de formaciones geologicas porosas o particuladas, en las cuales, (A) un consolidante que comprende un hidrolizado o precondensado de al menos, un organosilano y al menos un compuesto metalico, en donde la reaccion molar de compuestos de silicio usados a compuestos metalicos usados, esta en el intervalo de 8:000:1 a 8:1, se introduce en la formacion geologica y (B) el consolidante es curado bajo presion elevada y temperatura elevada. El proceso es adecuado para la consolidacion hidroliticamente e hidrotermicamente estable de formaciones geologicas por ejemplo, formaciones de arenas de reservorios ricos en aceite y agua, y para cambiar el comportamiento humectante de formaciones geologicas, por ejemplo, simplificando la limpieza de tierras industriales toxicologicamente contaminadas.
