Abstract
Se describe un aparato para atenuar automaticamente la luz de balasto electronicos y magneticos utilizados para lamparas fluorescentes o de alta descarga de intensidad. Una corriente limitante del capacitador variable se agrega en las lamparas, la cual proporciona los controles de intensidad de iluminacion son cambiar la frecuencia de operacion del balasto. Varios capacitores se colocan en la linea comun de la o las lamparas. Donde los capacitores se conmutan con transitorio lento para cambiar la corriente recibida por la lampara. El nivel de iluminacion se puede controlar ya sea, al variar el voltaje de alimentacion, mediante controles de comunicacion por linea de potencia, con un ensor de iluminacion, o por un control de potenciometro manual.
