Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a una mejora en un dispositivo para suministrar una droga al ambiente de fluído de intestino y colon, en donde el dispositivo está caracterizado porque comprende a) una pared que comprende una superficie que mira hacia el ambiente, la pared comprendiendo por lo menos en parte una composición permeable al paso de fluído y substancialmente impermeable al paso de droga, la cual rodea la pared; b) un compartimiento; c) una droga en el compartimiento; d) medios de empuje en el compartimiento para empujar la droga del dispositivo; e) medios de salida en la pared para suministrar droga desde el dispositivo; f) medios de revestimiento en contacto con la superficie de la pared que mira hacia el ambiente para retrasar el suministro de droga desde el dispositivo y en donde está comprendida la mejora; g) 1 por ciento en peso de medios hidrofóbicos en los medios de revestimiento para evitar substancialmente el paso de fluído presente en el ambiente a traves de los medios de revestimiento.
