Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a boquilla adecuada para usarse con un transductor para formar gotitas de tinta que comprende: un miembro tubular que tiene un orificio en un extremo, el otro extremo adaptado para conectar una fuente de tinta que contiene solventes, caracterizada porque el miembro tubular está formado de sulfuro de polifenileno, un material que es subtancialmente impermeable a la tinta y que es acústicamente suave; por lo que cuando el transductor es unido al miembro tubular la energía turbadora del transductor sobre un rango de frecuencia aproximada de 10 KHz a 100KHZ es sustancialmente plana, y la energía turbadora del mimo se transmite a la tinta dentro del miembro tubular sin amplificación subtancial, atenuación o creación de resonancia armónica de una frecuencia que caracteriza a la energía turbadora.
