Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a cosechadora de plantas móvil auto-impulsada para remover cosechas y su follaje del suelo, que comprende: un transportador principal con un recorrido inclinado hacia arriba y un extremo delantero; un transportador de barras de apriete inclinado que tiene una porción frontal arqueada descubierta estrechamente adyacente al suelo y una porción posterior arqueada dispuesta por encima del transportador principal; cortadoras para separar el follaje y la cosecha unida del suelo; una pluralidad de barras de apriete sobre el transportador de barras de apriete con las barras de apriete adyacentes abiertas cuando se mueven alrededor de la porción frontal arqueada para acoplar con el follaje, y cerradas en acoplamiento de agarre con el folla cuando se encuentra en el recorrido inferior del transportador y, después de esto se abre para liberar el follaje y la cosecha sobre el transportador principal cuando se mueva alrededor de la porción posterior arqueada; un sub-bastidor conectado al transportador de barras de apriete, una conexión articulada en forma de un paralelograno que conecta el transportador de las barras de apriete al transportador principal; un accionador de potencia conectado a la conexión articulada de paralelogramo para levantar y bajar el sub-bastidor y el transportador de las barras de apriete; y detectores del nivel del suelo sostenidos por el sub-bastidor para impulsar el accionador y levantar y bajar el sub-bastidor para mantener la porción frontal del transportador de las barras de apriete substancialmente a la misma distancia por encima del suelo cuando la cosechadora es impulsda sobre suelo de varios niveles.
