Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a procedimiento para la recuperación de la plata a partir de calcinados de zinc o residuo de lixiviado neutros o con bajo contenido de ácido, caracterizado porque comprende las etapas de: a) lixivilar un calcinado de zinc o residuo de lixiviación neutro o con bajo contenido de ácido, que contiene la plata, a preción admosferica con una solución de sulfato de acídico que contiene 0.1 a 20 g/l de tiourea a 30-85ºC y pH 1-5, para solubilizar mas de 85 por ciento de la plata; y b) recuperar la plata solubilizada por adsorción de carbón activado, o una resina de intercambio iónico o por cementación en polvo de zinc o hierro.
