Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a procedimiento para purificar y recuperar la solución catalizadora contaminada, que se obtiene en la carbonilación de acetato de metilo y/o dimetilèter, misma que contiene complejos carbonílicos de rodio, compuestos cuaternarios heterocíclicos aromáticos de nitrógeno o compuestos cuaternarios organo-fosforíco en cantidad de promotores orgánicos, eventualmente compuestos de metales no preciosos, formadores de carbonilo como promotores inorgánicos, impurezas orgánicas no destilables, así como también ácido acético, anhidrido de ácido acético y diacetato de etilideno, caracterizado porque de la solución catalizadora contaminada, en una primera etapa del procedimiento y mediante extracción dialquiléteres conteniendo 1 a 4 átomos de carbono, se retiran la impurezas orgánicas así como ácido acético, anhídrido de ácido acético y diacetato de etilideno y se separa la fase etérea de un complejo precipitado, que contiene promotor; se trata la fase etérea en una segunda etapa del procedimiento con yodo y/o yoduro de metilo, separa el complejo catalizador precipitado restante, que contiene promotor y se reune con el complejo catalizador purificado de la primera etapa; se separa la fase etérea por destilación, se utiliza de nuevo el dialquiléter recuperado, para la extracción, a partir de la mezcla recuperada de ácido acético, anhídrido de ácido acético y diacetato de etilideno y del complejo catalizador purificado reunido, se prepara nuevamente la solución catalizadora fresca y se extraen las impurezas orgánicas que quedan como residuo, de la destilación de las fases etéreas y se libera la solución ca talizadora purificada, por destilación del diaquiléter restante.
