Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a una composición de dispersión no acuosa de polímeros, altamente resistente a la intemperie, caracterizada porque comprende: 1) un copolímero, preparado de una mezcla de monómeros que consta de a) al menos un 40 por ciento en peso de uno o más monómeros de metacrilato de alquilo, con 1 a 3 átomos de carbono; b) al menos un 10 por ciento en peso de uno o más comonómeros seleccionados del grupo que consta de: acrilato de butilo, acrilato de isobutilo, metacrilato de butilo, metacrilato de isobutilo y acrilato de 2-etilhexilo; y c) 0 a un 50 por ciento en peso de otro(s) monómero(s) polimerizable(s) de radical libre, y 2) un dispersante o precursor de un dispersante anfipático; dicho copolímero tiene una temperatura de transición a vidrio de aproximadamente 0 a 70 grados C, según se calcula por la ecuación de Fox, y un tamaño promedio de partículas, volumetrico, menor de aproximadamente 450 nanómetros.
