Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a una brida empernable mejorada para acoplar un accesorio a un objeto que tiene paredes laterales externas y un interior normalmente confinado y conteniendo líquido, la brida comprende; un cuerpo que tiene una superficie interior adaptada para ser sostenida en un punto seleccionado sobre las paredes laterales externas de dicho objeto, y una superficie exterior, una pluralidad de orificios espaciados alrededor de la periferia de dicho cuerpo y los cuales comunican las superficies interior y exterior, un empaque localizado sobre dicha superficie interior para lograr un sello entre la brida y dichas paedes laterales externas de dicho objeto cuando la brida se emperna en su lugar; medios de retención para mantener en su posición el empaque sobre la superficie interior; y en donde la superficie interior es cóncava, estando curveada en relación a dos ejes, uno horizontal y el otro vertical, trazados de forma tal que dividen dicho cuerpo.
