Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a un mecanismo de entrelazamiento del riel de alternación para una transmisión que tiene una pluralidad de rieles de alternación deslizables a lo largo de ejes paralelos espaciados separadamente, el mecanismo de entrelazamiento está caracterizado porque comprende; medios de alojamiento para soportar a los rieles de alternación para un movimiento deslizante axialmente a lo largo de sus respectivos ejes, los medios de alojamiento incluyen una apertura para el perno de entrelazamiento que se intersecta con los rieles de alternación y que tiene un eje que se extiende generalmente transversal a los ejes de los rieles de alternación; una pluralidad de pernos de entrelazamiento montados de modo que pueden deslizarse dentro de la abertura, con un perno de entrelazamiento montados de modo que pueden deslizarse dentro de la abertura, con un perno de entrelazamiento separado situado entre los rieles adyacentes de los rieles adyacentes de los rieles de alternación cada uno de los pernos de entrelazamiento está provisto con porciones extremas rebajadas que definen superficies extremas acoplables de las superficies extremas adyacentes de los pernos, cada uno de los rieles de alternación provistos con medios de muescas separadas para recibir la porción extrema rebajada de por lo menos uno de los pernos, los medios de muescas están situados a lo largo de los rieles de alternación de tal manera que (a) cuando cada uno de los medios de muescas están en un alineamiento axial entre sí a lo largo del eje transversal de la abertura, la transmisión está en una posición neutral y (b) cuando cualquiera de los rieles de alternación está deslizado axialmente en la posición neutral, los medios de muescas de riel de alternación deslizado se acoplan con una porción extrema rebajada del perno que se extiende dentro de los medios de muescas y causa que el perno sea movido dentro de la abertura hacia afuera de los medios de muescas, el riel de alternación deslizado es acoplable con la superficie extrema del perno movido para asegurar la superficie temporalmente a los pernos en una posición axial fija predeterminada dentro de los medios de muescas de los otros rieles de alternación para impedir un movimiento deslizable axialmente de cualquiera de los rieles de alternación excepto el del riel de alternación deslizado.
