Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a un método para recalentar una preforma de poliéster para moldeo por soplado, caracterizado porqur consiste el método de los pasos de calentar la preforma de poliéster en un horno calentador infrarrojo de cuarzo hasta una temperatura generalmente acostumbrada para el moldeo por soplado, en donde la temperatura de una superficie exterior de la preforma es materialmente más elevada que la temperatura de la superficie inferior de una porción semejante de la preforma, trasladar la preforma recalentada a un calentador de radio frecuencia y calentar adicionalmente la preforma en donde la superficie interior de la preforma se calienta a un régimen mayor que la superficie exterior de la preforma, hasta que la temperatura del interior de la preforma se aproxime por lo menos a la temperatura del exterior, luego trasladar la preforma calentada de esta manera a un molde de soplado para moldear por soplado con la temperatura tanto de la superficie interna como de la superficie externa de la preforma siendo mayor que la temperatura en donde ocurriría la cristalización si la preforma se calentara a tal temperatura, utilizando ya sea el calentamiento infrarrojo de cuarzo o el calentamiento de radio frecuencia, independientemente.
