Abstract

The invention relates to fungicidal compositions which comprise a carrier and, as active ingredient, a dihalo-triazolopyrimidine derivative of general formula (I),in which R reprezents an optionally substituted branched or straight-chain alkyl or alkoxy group or an optionally substitu- ted cycloalkyl, aryl, aryloxy, or hetero-cyclyl group, and Hal reprezents a fluorine, chlorine, bromine or iodine atom; and their use as fungicides. Certain of these dihalotriazolopyrimidine derivati-ves are novel and a process for the pre-paration of these compounds is also provided.
