Abstract
Soi de gutui (Cydonia oblonga Mill.) omologat cu denumirea Zarea, obţinut prin hibridarea soiurilor Sorocscaia x Kirovobadskaia, destinat pentru producere industrială. Este raionat în Republica Moldova pentru toate zonele de cultură pomicolă.Pomul este de vigoare mijlocie cu coroană sferică. Ramurile de schelet sunt drepte, orientate în sus şi formează cu axul central unghiuri aproape drepte. Formaţiuni fructifere sunt lăstarii de creştere şi ramurile roditoare. Soiul este autofertil, dar în livezi ca polenizatori servesc soiurile Turunciukskaia şi Codreanca. Recolta medie constituie 30-35 t/ha.Recoltarea fructelor se efectuează la sfârşitul lunii septembrie-începutul lunii octombrie. În unii ani este afectat de monilioză.
