Abstract

The apple-tree variety (Malus domestica Borkh.) with registrated denomination Focushor is obtained from Wagener awarded and Kalvil sneghnii varieties hybridization. It is destined for fresh using. It is zoned in the Republic of Moldova for all fruit-production zones.The tree is average-sized with rounded crown. The main branches are moved away from the central conductor at an angle of 70-85o directed in the upper direction. The budbreaking and shoot forming ability are medium. It bears fruits on fruit spurs and twigs. The best pollinators are Kalvil sneghnii, Spartan, Kidd's Orang Red.The average crop is 17,3-19 t/ha. The fruits have the late-autumn, early-winter ripening. The variety is characterized by the scab (Venturia inaequalis) and powdery mildew (Podospharea leucotricha) resistance. Overloading and transportation.
