Abstract

The invention relates to the plant physiology, in particular to the methods of early diagnostication of the frost- resisting ability of plants and may be applied in viticulture for the selection and implementation of new plant varieties.The method for early diagnostication of vine plants frost resistance consists in the selection of the average sample from each variety and study thereof, where the average sample of the leaves is selected in the slowing-down period of the growth process and the beginning of the copse maturation, there is determined the total obscure respiration, the maintenance component, and proceeding from the difference between them there is determined the growth component, and the higher the ratio between the maintenance component and the growth component the higher the frost resistance of the varietiess.The technical result of the invention consists in the diagnostication of the frost resistance degree at the early stages of its manifestation, that permits to control the preparation processes of the vine varieties for winter.
