Abstract

The invention relates to the ultrasonic nondestructive materials testing and may be applied in civil engineering, mining and other industries.The purpose of the invention consists in increasing the test accuracy at the expense of the sample possibility on the maximum first half-wave.The device contains connected in consecutive order a synchronizer 1, a sounded pulse generator 2, a radiating converter 3, a reception converter 4, a differentiating amplifier 5, an amplifier to which the first and the second threshold elements 7 and 8 are connected. The first threshold element 7 is linked with the consequently connected first flip-flop 9 winch, by the second flip-flop 10 winch, the commutators and the time - interval converter 12 into the numerical code. The synchronizer 1 is linked through the flip-flop with the commutator 11, but the second threshold device 8 is connected to the second input of the flip-flop 10.The device may work in two operations: chronometry ultrasound propagation and the duration measurement of the leading edge.The operations reversal is done by means of the commutator 11. On the commutator's input are receipted the pulses 17 and 18. In the first operation on the time interval converter's input are receipted the pulses a equal with the pulse summary durations 17 and 18, in the second operation are receipted only the pulses 18.
