Abstract
The invention relates to a process for purification of water concomitantly from fluorine ions and humic acids.The process, according to the invention, includes passage of water at a flow rate of 0.3 dm3/min through a volume of 14…28 cm3 of diatomite-based sorbent modified with finely dispersed aluminum hydroxide. The modified diatomite is prepared by grinding and calcination thereof, keeping in a solution of the aluminum salt, treatment with ammonia solution, filtration, washing and drying in the air.
