Abstract

The invention relates to agriculture, in particular floriculture, and can be used for cultivation and selection of gladioli.The process, according to the invention, includes soaking of gladioli bulbs before planting in 0.025% aqueous solution of steroid glycoside 3-O-¢&bgr;-D-glucopyranosyl(1→2)]-¢&bgr;-D- glucopyranosyl(1→3)]-¢&bgr;-D- glucopyranosyl(1→4]-&bgr;-D-galactopyranoside-¢(25R)-5α-furostan-2α,3&bgr;,22α, 26-tetraol]-26- O-&bgr;-D-glucopyranoside, for 24 hours.The result of the invention consists in increasing the germination and productivity of gladioli bulbs.
