The invention relates to the pharmaceutical field, in particular to a method for quantitative determination of flavonoids in vegetable raw material.According to the claimed method, it is carried out the extraction of vegetable raw material with 70…75% ethanol, treatment with aluminum chloride, photometric determination of the optical density of the extract and calculation of the amount of flavonoids, and prior to ethanol extraction the raw material is extracted with chloroform, then the chloroform is decanted, and the solid phase is dried, at the same time the optical density of the extract is determined at 404 nm and the thickness of the absorbed layer of 0.1 cm, and the amount of flavonoids is expressed through the amount of quercitin.
