Invenţia se referă la microbiologie şi biotehnologie, şi anume la o tulpină de microalgă cianofită, care poate fi utilizată în industriile microbiologică, farmaceutică, cosmetologie, de asemenea în zootehnie şi fitotehnie.Tulpina de microalgă cianofită Nodularia harveyana (Thwaites) Thuret. este depozitată în Colecţia Naţională de Microorganisme Nepatogene a Republica Moldova sub numărul CNMN-CB-12 şi poate fi utilizată în calitate de sursă de proteine, lipide şi glucide.
