Abstract

The invention relates to gastroenterology, in particular to methods for diagnosis of complete remission of ulcerative colitis.The method, according to the invention, consists in that there are determined the clinical symptoms of ulcerative colitis and in the blood the quantity of malonic dialdehyde, erythrocyte superoxide dismutase and erythrocyte catalase and, if the content of malonic dialdehyde is within 4.3…4.9 µmol/ml, of erythrocyte superoxide dismutase 30.1…37.9 u/mgHb and erythrocyte catalase 304.4…371.2 u/mgHb, is diagnosed a complete remission of ulcerative colitis.
